The most recent official Legend of Zelda entry, Breath of the Wild broke new ground in open-world gaming with its massive, secret-filled vision of the iconic kingdom of Hyrule.
The pre-disaster world is robust and dense, with the creator using Minecraft's sprawling and emergent crafting system to replicate many of BOTW's locations and even some of the game's mechanics. A talented Minecraftplayer recently impressed the internet with an incredible recreation of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's Hyrule before the apocalyptic Calamity that wiped out most of civilization.
