Make the game as hard or as easy as you want on the fly. Don't like something we have added? Switch it off. Difference between S shield and M shield is also gulf. Also it is way harder than TC on 'normal'.
It's massive upgrade over vanilla TC or any X game or any space sim game. X-tended 2.2 for X3TC 3.2 is currently the best econom.space sim out there. Huh thread dedicated to X3TC and no one mentioned X-tended ?
